NGHTMRE, whose real name is Tyler Marenyi, is a Los Angeles-based DJ and producer born in Stamford, Connecticut, and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. After studying finance at Elon University, he pursued a career in music and gained recognition for his trap and house edits of popular tracks by artists such as Skrillex and Tiësto. His major breakthrough came in 2015 when Skrillex played NGHTMRE’s signature track “Street” during his headlining set at Ultra Music Festival. Later that year, NGHTMRE signed with Mad Decent and has since established himself as a leading figure in the North American dance music scene.
